A relic of great importance surfaces with this baseball signed by Babe Ruth and members of the 1947-48 New York Yankees squads. An OAL/Harridge model with faded factory labeling stamps, this vintage ball hosts a total of (7) autographs. Located on the desired sweet spot, Ruth's bold autograph is an ("7-8") strength black ballpoint pen application, that easily stands out as the most prominent of the (7) signatures. The other (6) autographs are blue ballpoint signatures averaging ("5-6") strength with North Panel: "Bucky" Harris (HOF), Frank Shea, Phil Rizzuto (HOF) and South Panel: Johnny Lindell, Johnny Schulte, George Stirnweiss. Though the factory stamps are faded, enough integrity remains to note the labeling characteristics are consistent with 1946-1947 Reach models. Full photo LOA from JSA.
