Fascinating 1951 Baseball Exhibits complete set of paper proof uncut sheets. These artifacts from the Chicago-based manufacturer include two 32-player pages totaling (64) subjects. “X” and dated “1951” grease pencil notations add an interesting provenance to the unique tandem. Despite a combination of wear including numerous creases, wrinkling and perimeter wear, the overall visual presentation of these pieces (folded in quarters) is not compromised. Highlighted among the (21) Hall of Famers are Campanella, DiMaggio, Musial, J. Robinson, T. Williams and both 1950 team cards.
