Having mounted a 3-run rally to take a comfortable advantage in the final frame, the American League was able to withstand a Senior Circuit uprising (also of three runs) and hold on for a 6-5 triumph in the 1957 All-Star Game at Sportsman’s Park. This OAL Harridge ball is autographed by (27) members of those victorious “visitors.” From the personal collection of former White Sox pitcher Billy Pierce (who singled and scored in that telltale 9th inning), the creamy orb (grade “8”) features ballpoint pennings that average (“7-8”) strength and include: Sweet Spot Stengel (manager) and T. Williams; North Panel Wynn, Mantle, Richardson, Maxwell, Fox, Mossi, Pierce and Berres (coach); South Panel Wertz, Kell, Malzone, DeMaestri, Bunning and Kaline; West Panel Sievers, McDougald, Berra, Grim, Triandos and Kuenn; East Panel Turner (coach), Skowron, Shantz and Loes; Reverse Sweet Spot Minoso.
