Description

For a span of better than three decades, stellar pitching, air-tight defense and mistake-free baseball were earmarks of a Baltimore Orioles franchise that was baseball’s winningest. These (7) jerseys are signed by Birdland greats who defined the club’s winning ways. Taking well to various fabric surfaces, the black felt tip signatures average (“8-9”) strength and include: Dempsey, Murray, Palmer, Ripken, B. Robinson, F. Robinson and Weaver. Rick Dempsey 1995-1997-style gray knit road button-down garment with “Orioles” angled across the chest in orange-on-black twill, “24” sewn to the back and left front and “DEMPSEY” arched atop the back number in like fashion. On the right front, Dempsey has signed in black marker (“9” strength) and inscribed “1983 World Series M.V.P.” Jersey has original “Russell Athletic” size “L” retail tagging.

Eddie Murray 1995-1997-style white knit home button-down garment with “Orioles” angled across the chest in black-on-orange twill, “33” sewn to the back and “MURRAY” arched on a nameplate atop the back number in like fashion. In an orange-on-black twill scheme, “33” is sewn to the left front. On the right front, Murray has signed in black marker (“7” strength) and inscribed ?500/3000.” Black piping lines the collar, button path and sleeve endings, a Bird logo patch adorns the left sleeve and “Russell Athletic” size “48” tagging is accompanied by a limited edition notation of “139/500.”

Jim Palmer 1969-style cream-colored flannel home button-down jersey with “Orioles” angled across the chest in orange-on-black felt and “22” sewn to the back and left front in like fashion. Just below the front number, “Palmer’s black marker autograph projects (“8-9”) strength and clarity. Orange-and-black piping lines the collar and sleeve endings, an MLB silhouette logo “100th Anniversary” logo patch adorns the left sleeve and “Mitchell & Ness” original retail tagging (no size indicated) accompanies.

Cal Ripken, Jr. 1995-1997-style white knit home button-down garment with “Orioles” angled across the chest in black-on-orange twill, “8” sewn to the back and “RIPKEN” arched on a nameplate atop the back number in like fashion. On the left front, “8” is sewn in an orange-on-black twill scheme. On the right front, Ripken’s black marker autograph (“8-9” strength) is accompanied by an inscription of “2131.” Black piping lines the collar, button path and sleeve endings, a Bird logo patch is sewn to the left sleeve and “Russell Athletic” size “48” retail tagging accompanies.

Brooks Robinson a 1964-style cream-colored home button-down garment with “ORIOLES” arched across the chest in black felt-on-orange twill and “5” sewn to the back in like fashion. Frank Robinson 1955-1963-style gray flannel button-down road garment with “Baltimore” angled across the chest in orange-on-black twill, “20” sewn to the back and left front and “F. ROBINSON” arched atop the back number in like fashion. Just below the front number, Robinson has signed in black marker (“8” strength) and inscribed “H.O.F. 82.” Black piping lines the collar and button path and size “L” tagging resides within the collar.

Earl Weaver 1971-1972-style orange knit button-down Sunday home garment with “Orioles” angled across the chest in black-on-white twill, “4” sewn to the back and left front and “WEAVER” arched atop the back number in like fashion. On the right front, Weaver has signed in black marker (“9” strength) and inscribed “HOF 96.” Black-and-white striped stretch ribbed knit lines the V-neck and sleeve endings and “Majestic” size “2XL” retail tagging accompanies.
