The “Me” decade of the 1970s started with hallucinogens and ended with Disco, along the way we experienced “Tricky Dick” Nixon, Pop Rock, Rocky, LSD and the quintessential stoner phenomenon “Blacklight” posters. Offered is a tremendous lot of (700+) 1970s posters including (400+) assorted Blacklight pieces. Highlights are (2) Nixon parodies, (15) Stallone (Rocky), (10+) Three Dog Night, (3) Fleetwood Mac, (150+) “First Love” (2 versions), (30+) “Midnight Rider” Marijuana Distribution Co., Rodney Allen Rippy and the Blacklight issues including a hysterical “Fred the Pervert”. These posters range in size from 11x30 to 23x35, approximately half display peripheral wear in the form of edge tears and/or missing corners. The majority of the smaller posters are heavier stock and are in excellent condition and the majority of the listed highlights are in better condition. In addition to the highlights this lot includes (350+) “Today is the first day of the rest of your life” (all blacklight), (70) “No more war” and (50+) “Perls” inspirational poster.
